OK, this is where you post laws that are on the books that are totally stupid. These laws may or may not even be enforced...but they are still on the books. Examples:

New Jersey: If you have ever been convicted of driving while intoxicated, you may NEVER again apply for persomalized license plates

Pennsylvania: It is not legal to sing in the bathtub

Wyoming: Failure to close a fence is punishable by a fine of up to 750 dollars

New Mexico: Idiots may not vote

Massachusetts: Candy may not contain more than 1% of alcohol

West Virginia: Unmarried couples who live together and "lewdly associate" with one another may face up to one year in prison

You get the idea

dumb laws...Thats what happens when the law of man rather than the law of the jungle reign supreme over us all. LOL I have a huge ticket to pay off now. turned out I am not above the law.

In Korea if you cheat on a spouse, you go to jail. The person with your partner also goes to jail.

Utah : a husband is responsible for any criminal act his wife commits while in his presence

Another reason to not get married and stay out of Utah :)

North Carolina; If a man and a woman (who aren't married) go to a hotel and register as a married couple, by Law they are legally married

in north carolina it is illegal to posses/smoke/vaporize/grow cannabis. i really need to get the fuck outta here lol.

That doesn't seem too dumb to me. If we could find a way to qualify this, the world would be better off.

Agree - but I think it should be a Federal law and have added - Idiots cant run for office :)

New Jersey: It is illegal to wear a bullet-proof vest while committing murder.

New York City: Up until 2008, it was illegal to dance at most bars. The bars needed a special "cabaret" license. Back in the 90's, I remember being reprimanded by a bartender for dancing at a bar. He told me and my friends not to dance and pointed to the posted signs, "NO DANCING ALLOWED" or the bar would get in trouble.

in nebraska a non married couple cant sleep in a hotel with out the woman having a shirt on at all times (hotel has to supply a shirt)
