may not be the style of music that most folks on here are into, but Brent Mason can really, bring it. he does alot of the studio work in Nashville on the big records that come out. this is him in an instrumental with Vince Gill, who is a fantastic blues player in his own right.

No shame in that at all. Tremonti can really play. I saw Alter Bridge live and even though they were just a 3 piece he kept the sound very full.

John, post a video of yourself playing. If you do it, I will too. No air guitar.

Hey Louis. Like I said: I owe Eddie a video lesson in addition to some rolling footage. I'm doing my best to get some soon! (Eddie's been wiating like, a year!).

Here is Stanley Jordan and his band performing "All Blues." He's playing guitar and piano simultaneously, comping himself with one hand, while the other plays lead then he switches hands, and lead instrument on the fly. He can't be human.

Stylistically, I'm very much like Prince. I like wearing high heels when I solo.

Wow...at Stanley Jordan.
John Roderick

Stanley Jordan is definitely talented. However, we all must remember that talent only takes one so far. Dedication, discipline, and hard work coupled with practice can do so much more. I've seen so many with "talent" squander it because they are undisciplined and unfocused.

And Louis, if you post video of you playing in high heels and fishnets, well, we'll think of something to get you.
