Good Or Bad ???? Guess to early to tell. I feel like Naga push's me to fast sometimes. They made me move out of beginner to inter really fast. Today we showed up and they pulled me to the side and said. We have been watching you Conner, we are having you fight expert. Good luck...and walked away.LOL. I asked my dad, are they asking me to move up???? He said , Nope. I don't think you have a choice in this.LOL I have only been training formally for just a little over a year.

But did what I was told, Tried to act cool about it..... But was Sh*ting myself a little.lol
Faught kids expert 150-180 pounds.

Bronze in No Gi and Silver in Gi. Both loss's really close. Never felt in any danger. Lost by 1 point in No Gi. Another 15 seconds I think I had the kid, was almost all the way to his back for RNC. But nerves are over and I know I can hang with anybody in that division now. So it's all good.

If you medaled in the expert division it sounds like you were in the right place. You should probably feel good that NAGA noticed you and felt you belonged in the expert division.

it could be good or bad...

they dont always do it for the right reasons, some times they just dont have enough kids in one division and they just combine them.

they are always putting my son in higher weight and higher level divisions, just because of his age, he is 12 but only weighs 65lbs (in his clothes on a full stomach) and he is always fighting 75-80lbs.

he will kill kids his own size, but that doesnt mean he should be fighting kids 15lbs heavier, that would be like you fighting someone 40lbs heavier (its 25% of his body weight). i am not making excuses for my kid he holds his own against anyone, but the organizations dont give a crap about you, they just want to make their money.

I think you should hold your head up high, and go do work! I was pushed into fighting in two divisions with NO formal training. In the division they pushed me into, I won gold. So, go for it, homie!

Yeah they do that :) NAGA made me fight WOMENS advanced when i was 13. I got heel hooked by a black belt pro mma fighter in under a minute...lol.

Sounds like you handled it just fine buddy; nicely done! Keep up the good work. :)

Gabby: Stop up to Rochester some time. Coach can fix that heel hook problem right quick. :)

I was worried about the moves for the wrong reasons to. But division had a fare amount of kids even without me. Anyone thats been to a Naga knows how crazy Kip {the owner} is doing the event. Running around like a mad man. He stopped what he was doing and came and watched my first match even yelled some suport and advice. When I was done he stood up said well done Conner, and went back to work. Pretty sure he was just checking in to make sure he had done the right thing. LOL.
