You know what's interesting is Eddie and Joe Rogan discussed that kick in MTS and how effective that ball of the foot would be to the face/chin.

Isn't that one of the kicks that Steven Seagal was helping Anderson refine?

Damn i dont want Silva Vs. GSP cuz i dont want to see either of them lose. Thats just not cool lol. Epic fight it will be but not cool. I see Silva beating GSP. GSP just doesnt have the stopping factor that Silva does.

Yes, it was! Anderson just mentioned it on ESPN. I remember seeing a video of Seagal training Silva for his fight vs Sonnen.

I think joe said something about typically not being able to get as much power going to the head but god damn silva is crazy

Exactly what I was thinking. Did you hear Joe ranting about how in he has never seen anybody get knocked out by that kick before?

It's so weird that they were just discussing that exact kick.

at this point its like, who do you bring in to fight Silva? I mean the GSP fight is publicity... and its a title fight, but does it only affect anything if Anderson loses? Surely Silva wont be the 170lb champ...

It's being fought at 185 so only silva's belt is on the line.

I'm calling BS....I think Anderson is a fan of Seagals and all but...uhm...this is from 3 years ago..

so obviously he had it in his repertoire before Seagal started "training" him

Segal sounds like such a creeper. He is too legit to quit though.

Segal is legit, I am not sure why people make fun of him. Almost everyone that talks shit about Segal don't even have half the martial arts achievements that he has.

he said he learned it last year but he did it in the fight with hendo 2-3 years ago?

There's so many shady hollywood stories with that dude but in his defense, none of that has anything to do with his martial arts.

LOL!!!! ^

I think the key word for SS is that he "refined" the kick with Anderson

Karim Graham

lol it does sound to mme like SS is taking credit for Silva's kick, then saying that the kick is an original move made by him and then refined to perfection. its just too cheesey, i just see it as silva through a great kick at the right time.
