10th Planet Victoria
The Victoria BC Chapter of 10th Planet was opened in 2007 and was the first 10th Planet school in Canada and the 3rd in the growing Nibru empire. It is the home of Submissions 101, one of the webs most popular video jiu jitsu websites. 10th Planet Victoria is the only school on Vancouver Island to teach strictly jiu jitsu, ranging from Japanese Jujutsu to 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu and now Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. All of these elements make for a focused and well round jiu jitsu curriculum.
Ari Bolden is the Chief Instructor at 10th Planet Victoria (Submissions 101 Gym). He has been involved in the martial arts for 25 years, and took a special interest in the grappling arts at a young age. Eddie has said that “…When I got to Victoria and did the seminar I was super impressed with (Ari’s) 10th planet knowledge. It was obvious that he was studying hard for
the affiliation, he had all my books memorized and was like a walking 10th planet encyclopedia, and he had a natural ability for teaching.” Ari contiuned to study with Eddie throughout the United States, often flying to other cities (Pheonix, Seattle, LA, Vancouver) just to take seminars with Master Bravo.
Ari is currently studying under the Shihan of the Jiu Jitsu Society if BC in Japanese Jujutsu and is a direct student of Eddie Bravo (10th planet Jiu Jitsu since 2006) and Keith Owen (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu).Our school is open 6 days a week and offers programs for all ages and levels.
