Hello brothers and sisters, I hope all is beautiful 🙂

Mastering The System is the online instructional series of the unorthodox nogi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu style, “10th Planet Jiu Jitsu” filmed on location at 10p HeadQuarters. in downtown Los Angeles. Developing an elaborate attacking system from back control is generally a beautiful thing to focus on in Jiu Jitsu but not necessary at all if your main goal is to dominate the point Jiu Jitsu scene. Sweeps, passing and wrestling is what needs to be focused on if that is your mission. However in the submission-only game, sharpening your back attacks is absolutely essential, especially if you compete in subonly tournaments that utilize the EBI over-time format. Your transitions from back control to the truck, back to the back, and then to spider web and back to the back need to be super smooth and ultra polished. Having counters to your opponent’s defense and set ups off those counters to finish him off become everything in EBI OT. In this episode I will show you exactly how I attack from the back and how I set up traps for the finish. It all starts off by getting your opponent to the “pre web” position which is mainly about stifling his attempt to get to “safe haven”, the spot/the angle that keeps him safe from the RNC. From “pre web” not only do you kill his best line of defense against the rear naked choke but you also put yourself in a position to attack with an RNC against a 1 armed opponent, or transition smoothly to spider web, or set him up for an inverted triangle, all from “pre web”. In this episode I also go over how I break open and deal with professional lockdowns. This is vital for those of you who are sick and tired of getting electric chaired and vaporized. Plus, as usual, there is much much more, so sit back, take some notes and enjoy the journey of mastering the system, thank you for the support! -Eddie 🙂
