Eddie wants his system to get out there, and for people to use it. If Royler Gracie wanted to learn a few things out of Eddie's system that would show he respects it enough to at least learn how to defend it. I think Eddie wants to do away with the dogma of keeping shit secret like some Brazilian camps do. At the same time one of his guys going behind Eddie's back with out telling would be wrong, that is where I understand Cesar's frustration. Still a grown man using the term "sissy face" just makes everyone shake their heads and think well there Cesar goes again bitching for the sake of bitching. And really how the FUCK do we know if Condit and Diaz will ever fight again? I always saw Caio as an odd man out in that camp, seemed to calm and well...educated.
IMO Caio has the right to earn money for his family and develop his own career however he see's best. In the MMA and BJJ communities (especially at the top levels) its almost impossible to not cross paths. Also it is not like Terra was training Condit specifically for Diaz, or even Terra sneakily conspiring to have students leave the academy with him.
I have a feeling maybe Terra wanted out of that place anyway. He will be fine whatever he decides to do. Just feels like an overreaction on Cesars part right now. But tbh we don't know the whole story and never will, so I am not going to judge either way. :-)
Caio Terra is not a Cesar Gracie Black Belt. Caio earned his black belt from Reyson Gracie and Paulo Strauch. So.. the parallel to a 10th P Black helping Royler doesn't fit.
The loyalty aspect is complete nonsense. It isn't like Cesar took Caio from white to black and Caio turned his back. Cesar found a legitimate talent and HIRED him to teach jiu jitsu at his academy. This benefited CGJJ more that in benefitted Caio I'm sure. Also when 75% of your fight team is either hurt or suspended from failed drug tests the teams loyalty isn't going to put food on the table.
Caio needs to learn loyalty. Samir Chantre should go and train Bruno Malfacine and then we'll see how Caio likes it. And according to some of you that would be cool because Caio put instructionals out. Gimme a break. He went against his team and you know that team is like a family.
Is there a DoucheBag of the Year award at the MMA Awards etc??? Every time Cesar talks about an issue, I lose more and more respect for him and the team. This guy is the team cry baby for fooks sake. Good for buddy, away from that engative energy.
Yess Siirr, but you have to remember a lot of dudes are from suburbia and suburban kids rarely know shit about loyalty, I think Caio is from Brasilia witch is very wealthy and far from the favelas. poor kids from the hood have reality handed to them very early and you learn loyalty very quick, either loyalty too your neiborhood, too your gang, or too your crew, & that's why kids from the hood appreciate shit more & what people do for them and have more hunger in general. & thats why soo many americans flip flop from school to school and arent loyal to shit and some of your best students will be ex gang members & drug dealers, Caio isn't from the street so he doesn't understand that street ehtic, but the Diaz brothers are. Just look at some of Eddies Black Belts Denny, Einstein they've been down forever and both didn't grow up with much.
Sounds like cesar is being a whining little bitch to me - granted he's incredible buy why does he need to react like that - ciao terra is an awesome little dude from what I've seen.
