This is the route I would go. There's gotta be a couple guys feeling the same way as you that would be up for meeting up.

100% man. All you need is some mats and some space and you can still train like a beast. Plus I recommend constant study of the system. Get the jits note pad out, get some sticky notes and put different notes around. My computer screen sides are covered with them and my jiu jitsu has just shot up like crazy since I started doing this stuff. Eat, sleep, jiu jitsu. Oss.
^^^^^This. I've rolled with my brother on carpet and tile. Just no slams, and for takedowns pull guard or start on knees. I'm not advising this, but people have been doing this long before mats. Just sayin... We just recently got mats. My gym is 45 minutes away. I try to go like twice a week.
Thanks for all the help guys, talked to one of the other students that is around my age and he is down for getting together and training. Huuuuge thanks to Brent Smith for giving me a free membership to his site, I'm most definitely going to wear it out.
I'm not giving up on you guys that easily. I've had some serious issues finding housing for my family while waiting on the Veteran's Administration to approve my home loan. When I asked for help over the Labor Day weekend, we were literally turned away by "friends" that I had here for over 15 years. It didn't take long for me to institute the Purge and start cutting off both family and so called friends immediately. Fortunately, I'm closer to securing the additional paperwork and therefore a permanent place for my kids. If everything goes as planned, I should be able to reopen within 2 weeks! Matt is one of my most faithful and promising students. I sincerely appreciate that you reached out to them for advice. Well, everyone except Brent Smith. The last time he offered me something for free, Brent Litell kept coming into my room and screaming "Dame Chon Chon!" I'm fairly sure he traded me for a pack of Lucky Strikes.
LOL!
I'm glad we were able to work things out Tony. :)
