Which cradle position?
If I can get it, I like going to a "Cradle" from side control and top of deep half. From there, I go electric triangle, Russian cowboy, to the back or to spider-web.
But like Brandon said, this assumes we are talking about the same "cradle". On a side note, people at Brandon's school defend "cradle" entries pretty well, so there is a good chance he's "cradle-ing" (that's a word, right?) the heck out of people if he gets a chance, though I haven't seen him do it in person.
I've been going hard after it ever since Eddie vs Royler 2, same setup off of the electric chair. If I can shift up high near their head, trapping their near arm against my side, I tend to first try the old Gene Lebell 3 finger choke. Failng that I go KoB or back.
The Twister!
One thing I've played with is going to the near side cradle from front headlock, pushing your head into their ribs until you can connect your hands. Then when you have them on their back, bail on the cradle and snatch that guillotine with the arm you have around the head, it should be pretty easy to end up in mount
I hit the Electric Cowboy from the farside Cradle.
