honey hole question
I am not sure of the name of the position, but my heel hook attack entries have me with both of my legs wrapped around one of my opponent's leg, locking mine between his, while holding his opposite leg's toes. It is the same as honey hole exept that I have one of his legs on each side of my body (what is the name of this position?). What would be the advantage of trowing his susceptibe leg to the other side of my body, to get the honey hole? It seems like it would be easier for him to escape/roll out?

Never easy to unravell leg spaghetti from these descriptions..
If its not honey hole then chances are you are heading towards game over, if you're heading away from 50/50.. yep clear as mud.
Any help??

From what I can fathom, you're still in honeyhole/ 4-11, with his "would be" free leg crossed, with both his legs making an X? It offers a bit more control, as he can't roll out, and you can proceed to attack the "untangled" leg as well. 2 targets instead of one.

Correct me if I am wrong you have honey hole but you cross the free leg to the other side of your body? If so it sounds like Tony Montana. Check out MTS 104 starting at 1:20 also If you watch Gordon Ryan Vs Enrico Cocco, Gordon wins via Tony Montana. Let me know if this helps.

It sounds like you are just describing an outside heel hook as opposed to an inside one? I was under the impression it was Honey Hole either way as long as knee is reaped or you have figure four/senkaku
