MOTY Melbourne - Frank is putting out bests all across the country and spreading the 10th Planet system throughout Australia.
I'd like to nominate 10th Planet Melbourne for MOTY.
I've only been training for a short few months under Sensei Frank Barca, but during that time my knowledge of jiu jitsu and martial arts has grown exponentially. Sensei Frank and his teaching method, which is imbued with knowledge, a contagious passion, and a true love of the art, is an inspiration.
Furthermore, Sensei Frank is a true believer in the 10th Planet system and he's the first to let you know that. His God-like presence on social media and his frequent seminar work means he's always spreading the 10th Planet word throughout the country.
Meanwhile, the culture of 10th Planet Melbourne is top notch – open, supportive, and hard-working. Looking around, you'll see white belts taking time to encourage other white belts, blue belts taking time to teach white belts, purple belts explaining techniques to blues, and at the top, Sensei Frank, keeping a close eye on everything.
I nominate Frank Barca for NWOTY and 10th Planet Melbourne for MOTY.
Frank is a beast who is travelling all over the country repping the system, commentating on MMA cards, holding seminars and generally spreading the word! He's also training up soldiers who are repping in nearly every state and making 10th Planet a force to be reckoned with in Australia!
I also nominate Frank Barca for NWOTY and 10th Planet Melbourne for MOTY.
Frank is awesome and gives us so much support down here in little old Hobart. He's an excellent instructor and wonderful coach. There are matches I don't think I would have won without his voice booming in my ear. The 10th Planet Melbourne crew are the best, like family and are straight up beasts!
NWOTY: I nominate Geo for total domination, BMac for his wet-willy interweb fame, and Cora for consistantly using the system to dominate on her level. Probably Geo this year, Cora in the future.
MOTY: Decatur or Roc, based on my own interactions on the forum. TWIR and all of the videos Bmac posts are priceless to us Ronin.
I nominate GEO!!!! He has inspired us so much this year. Cant stop bragging about him to our people over here.
NWOTY I nominate Amber Kamischke. This girl has dominated the women's nogi scene this year.
MOTY must go to Costa Mesa or Yuma. Both are consistently producing high level fighters and jiu jitsu competitors that avidly rep the system.
