Wrestling shoes in no gi

I have a sambo background and usually go more for wrestling takedowns that are legal in sambo. I train in an mma gym now and quit sambo. Sambo shoes are worthless its just a sock but i noticed with the shoes on your feet are easier to grab onto which sucks.

My gym uses some high school wrestling mats and they are a bit slippery, much diff from jiu jitsu mats.

I feel I need more traction can someone recommend a shoe.

Also is their any sense in buying a used pair on ebay. I heard wrestling shoes are sized weird.

I probably would go barefoot on judo (once a week) the traction of wrestling sounds like it makes it hard to pivot
