Scott lost the Super Fight at about 12 mins in (15 min match), Scott had him early with a Calf Crush from the back off the Reaper Series (like the Olivia Calf Crush). Scott then later when for a leg lock and got a little careless in an attempt to finish and got counter heel hooked. I know he'll learn from this and getter better.

i was surprised that you pulled guard. you did say you had a different game plan for today though

i thought i did ok. tried to work some bottom game against my first match. he couldnt do much but kept solid once i broke him down. was able to zombie but couldnt clear the head. second round i was happy i had a fairly good single leg. all i had to do was keep circle like 20 more percent and i probably would have won 2-0.

also wish i finished the standing guillitine on kyle!

all in all i did ok, i wish i would have came home with a win but eating at 10-11 and fighting at 5 was rough. i was so tired during my matches

I love these tournaments because it shows you how far along your development is against other opponents from around the area, and not just the ones you roll with constantly.
My top control and guard passing is really beginning to improve as I was able to more or less have my way alternating from side control to mount and back again over and over. I also learned I need to go for more submissions, as I can see where they are more and more often.
Also beat the above guy in my Gym, despite his flabby attempts at a guillotine! muahahahahahahaaaaa!!! I'm gonna hold this one for bragging rights forever.. at least until he kills me in tuesdays practice!

Scott looked awesome. Coach Herzog always has a bunch of badass guys flying the 10th planet flag with style. Makes me wish I lived close to them, to train and be a real member of the 10th planet family and team. Just one of the many drawbacks to being and hillbilly living in the middle of nowhere. :)



The only good thing about being a hillbilly is Guns, Just used my birthday money to buy a AR15 223. Best gun I have ever owned. Don't think I will ever touch my AK47 again.lol. Eddie I will send you a pic. :)

Jason, Yes I plan on being there. Hopefully my shoulder will be in good shape. I disslocated it before x-mass. Has been doing good but banged it up a little Saturday at Fredonia tourny. Rehurt it with a deep darce on a kid, got finished off when I got armbared.lol. Feels pretty sh*ty right now, Been iceing it for 3 days. But should be fine by then.

Looking forward to coach Herzog cleaning up some of my 10th planet game. You can only learn so much from videos. Never replace Zog sharing his wizdom/

I hear you Conner - you've got it exactly right - training from videos is very useful & it's all that we have out here in the boonies so we make due - but there is no substitute for learning directly from the Zog! NONE! I heard that he's currently 87 years old & by the time he turns 200 he'll begin taking on a 1/2 Yoda - 1/2 Hulk like appearance while still tapping fools in slow motion with his iron-man style.

I feel like such a slacker by only making the trip to Rochester a few times/year but I'm trying to change that. About a year ago I set myself a goal to open a 10th Planet Fredonia Hotbox in 2011 but family issues put my personal aspirations on hold. Well no more wasting time - I'm pushing hard to make that Hotbox happen this year! 2012 is my year!

I've even talked to my guys & have at least one that is willing to commit to a once/month pilgrimage to Empire with me. When visiting any moon I try to absorb as much as possible & bring it back to our gym but there is nothing like actually experiencing the training regimen implemented at a world-class gym like Empire. I want the guys I roll with to experience that in hopes that it inspires them to step it up here in Fredonia.

I hope we get a chance to roll in Rochester this May - I've seen you compete a few times & you've definitely got that terminator cool as ice style that I try to emulate. Win/lose/draw every match just seems like another day in the park for you. I have to wonder, just how many tournaments have you competed in?

Oh yeah & rest up that shoulder - I hope you heal up quickly. May is right around the corner!

Now that I've now got enough tournament matches recorded - I hope to get a chance to talk with you about meeting the remaining hotbox requirements when I come up to Rochester for the May training camp. I'm so motivated right now I am just dying for my 10P tour to kick off...on Saturday! 10P Charlotte here I come!

Mike I don't know if icey cool fits me all the time.lol. Took a little time off to refocus,and back to having fun again. I still don't like losing, but wins and losses at this level really aren't life and death. I just want to be the best MMA fighter in the world someday. All the tournaments are just making me better and more relaxed for the day those fights really matter. But thanks for complament for sure. It must be working because I really don't get nervous anymore. But that took a long time. To answer your question I have faught over 225 times in the last 2 years. Thats not counting all the normal class rolls, thats just tournaments.

Seriously? 225? How many matches do you got on tape? With that many you should have enough footage to put together a really dope highlight video. You could play a talk on Happiness from the Dali Lama for the audio & title it 'That art of choking bitches while maintaining inner peace."

Mike I have all of them, except for battery's going dead, forgot camara, my dad trying to coach and film at the same time so he ends up getting some great shots of the ceiling.lol

I don't know about a highlight reel. It's not like I would sit around and watch it. My dad says it will be nice years from now to look and and see the beginning of what I hope to turn myself into. Sometimes when I feel my jits really sucks he makes me watch a fight from a couple years ago. Just to show me how far I have come. It works most of the time. I feel if I have come that far in a couple years, I get excited thinking with hard work what I might look like 2 years from now.

I don't want guys to think I'm sitting around watching my videos thinking how awesome I am. lol. The truth is when I do watch them, I can't beleave how bad I suck !!!! lol. I watch and say well I still suck, but I suck less then I did then, and maybe a couple years of work may I can suck a little less :)

Ok so I have figured out how to stream with sound from the game but how do I do it so the stream can hear my voice and my teams voices if thats even possible??? More information you can view at mmastream.cc
