thats so cool....well done Shelby. But how come they let it go on after the first verbal submission
he couldnt handle the squeeze. indicators are him turning sideways and his beet red face. i think she noticed it and thats why she hooked his leg to prevent him from turning. it didnt look like she wanted to sweep at all.

She just smashed him with a thigh master type squeeze, I think it's called the scorpion death crunch I think :)
Its such a powerful squeeze too. Hard to handle
yep, looking at it again you can see he starts to reel in pain the second she straightens out her legs and squeezes his guts. that to me is like tapping out due to the lock down.Quote:

Well done!! People that dont understand the squeeze just dont get the power in it. They would not let us do the scorpion when we tried it. The refs stopped our guy and told him he couldnt do that. I cant remember if that was NAGA or GrapplersQuest.

Anyway, congrats Shelby. Sick squeeze to finish the dude without engaging the hands. Only other video I've seen of this working in comp made the guy on top vomit (which counts as a tap, apparently).
yeah when you vomit it is considerd an automatic DQ...i also did Gi as a white belt for this tourney and one of the guys felt sick..they told him he had to keep it down for 5 mintues or else he would be dq'd....
