Training Plan
So technically I am not affiliated with a moon yet. cannot get to one until Feb of 16 (Currently in Afghanistan) I was hoping to get some training advice so when I am able I can be ready. There are not many people to work out with while I am here I travel around a lot. So any drills that can be done by yourself would be great.
I do have some training under Kyle Watson when he was at the H.I.T. Squad and I have level 2 combative's for the Army. so I do have a little understanding of how to train I am looking more toward a more specific program for 10th Planet. Any help is welcome!

jo!
you will need rubber guard flexibilty (not just to play rubber guard!!) and a strong clinch goes together very well with the 10P-system/style.
so do the single lotus, make it a habit to sit/hang out like that. eventually you want to feel comfortable in the double lotus. you wana get there without using hands..seems impossible at first but it's not. trust me - i know.
also: butterfly stretch (knees all the way to the ground and heels to your groin)
if you work on your double lotus it will also make your butterfly stretch easier. i actually never worked the butterfly stretch but got to black belt flexibilty ( = knees to the ground while heels touching the groin) by just stretching the single and double lotus and doing triangles when rolling and trying a little bit of basic rubber guard which i picked up from youtube. so you probably don't have to work the butterfly stretch regularly..just the lotus.
also sometimes try to put your legs behind your head..work that a little (start with it once it's no more painful to get to the double lotus). and i guess your goal there would be to cross your feet behind your head without using hands..but i don't think master eddie can do that so..

if you want to work on more do functional strenght training for your core and work on a strong grip with your hands.
you want to be strong where it counts so core strenght, grip strength and neck (be careful with your neck tho). other than that: make sure you're not just strong but very flexible (whole body)!

Thanks for your service! Drill the basic rubber guard path as often as you can on anyone that will let you. Also drill your lockdown path. So much of the new system works off of the basics. Learn to walk before you run!
