Question on the Squeeze
Eddie said that even though the hand placement of many moves are similar, one must squeeze it in its right position to get the right balance and muscle group in order to develop that squeezing power. Squeezing power is to knockout power in striking IMO.
I practice my clinch and leg curls for my guard on the bouncy fitness balls. I also practice my RNC on my knee but what can I use to work on my other squeeze such as darces, guillotines, neckties, etc? Just wondering the different methods you guys out there use to practice your variety of squeezes.

Richard, I feel that Alder or Eddie should answer this one but I'll give it a try ;) I learned an awesome squeeze drill from Alder that gives you everything you need... Instead of the bouncy ball squeeze a partner!
Here's the scoop...
1) achieve mission control
2) make it 'perfect mission'
A. Wrist to ankle
B. Back leg off hip and up on small of opponents back
C. Toes curl back (don't point toes)
D. Hamstring curl legs DOWN
E. Squeeze knees IN (towards each other compressing ribs)
F. Forearm of your hook hand curls IN and UNDER (towards middle of oppn. Chest)
G. Keep you head UP and off mat
Squeeze in this position for 30 seconds as hard as you can.... In, down, toes back, arm twists in and under and head off mat. Squeeze with all your might all the while breathing. Inhale and exhale rapidly to keep oxygen flowing...
Release, rest 30 seconds, achieve 'perfect mission' again and squeeze 30 seconds...
Repeat for about 4 rep. Go home. Sleep. Cry when you wake up because if you do this properly you will feel soreness like no other in the morning ;)
Repeat about 1 to 2x weekly for a month and you'll have the squeeze of a god!

When Im choking sombody - I put it in tight enough so its sunk, then Ill slowly add more and more pressure. Not too much right away. You dont wanna blow your load. :)
At the gym I do sets of 25 reps on all my exercises and peak contrations for all of them (3-5 seconds) and then a final peak contraction (45 seconds) on the last set with 3 negatives. (The negatives I just do every 3rd work out)

alder taught us that same drill when he came to decatur the first time. we do it all the time and it will def improve your squeeze.
i practice my other squeeze positions on a basketball.

Once you have conditioned your self and acquired technique, I feel the squeeze is a mentality.
