It amazes me that people think we didnt go to the moon- to be honest at one point in time I thought there could be something to this-that was only when I watched the conspiracy version only-there is a video out there completely debunking every conspiracy 1 by 1-One thing I find in the conspiracy world is people only surround themselves only with people who agree with them.
To be truly openminded one must throughly inspect both sides of the argument without confirmation bias meaning most people including myself in the past will discard conflicting evidence with current held belief-

First off Eddie I think your a fuckin jiu jitsu savant man........but i want to expand on some other areas that are controversial especially conspiracy theories............we cant always assume that because we are talented in one area that we will be just as talented in other areas-take a look at "Multiple Intelligences"......I see you mentioned that you believe in intelligent design ......I would like for you to utilize that same skepticism you had towards traditional bjj .......and point it towards this idea of intelligent design (check out Intelligent Design on Trial)and any other paranormal & supernatural claims ......the TRUTH is all that matters....and time & time again these supernatural claims fail to describe what we all actually experience......
there is a $1,000,000 prize for anyone who prove their psychic abilities or any other supernatural claim at the JAMES RANDI FOUNDATION (silvia brown has agreed to do it but has never shown up - also she has been proven wrong on larry king)......not to mention like in that child pornography ring documentary all the kids and people around the world who suffer in agony around the world (Like Japan) that could really benefit from these so-called supernatural gifts these people claim they have-..
One last thing Eddie all these interpretations and religions cannot be right simultaneously (they cancel each other out most of the time) BUT they can all be WRONG-----A true friend doesnt kiss your ass they give to you straight (i know we're not friends its figure of speech)....I hope you dont block or ban me like most people do when others disagree with them...Im not trying to be negative just realistic like your jiu jitsu .....You got to be careful when you surround yourself with "YES MEN" unless thats what comforts you..on these issues I'm after the TRUTH not comfort.........If you have any material you think I should review let me know
You do understand in the scientific world there is no such thing as a coincidence. While I do agree with your path to reasoning, everything is rarely as it appears. So to claim every "conspiracy theory" is false, is a rather presumptuous stance... One that would be very improbable to be correct at that. We have had the best "Spin Doctors" deciding what the public needs to know and what they don't need to know for decades if not centuries now. I have seen sooo many things covered up or just not divulged to keep the truth suppressed. So some of these theories are not too far off the mark. But it is always best to observe neutral, the problem with that lies in the results determined over numerous times. Often tends to begin to sway your bias... I am guilty of this as well. The best I can do is to acknowledge this and try to remain unbiased in observation in the future.
BTW it is easier to take someone serious in a debate such as this one, when they don't hide behind an alias. Eddie has asked that we use our real names on this forum to get to know each of us better. Also, I don't think you understand Eddie's stance on traditional BJJ. His evolution is designed for MMA were there are no clothes to grab, or handles that Gi training has you relying on. He has repeatedly paid homage to the roots of our Art which is the Gracies and traditional BJJ. We are trying to bridge the gap between Gi and No-Gi training. They both serve very valid areas. BJJ Self Defense/BJJ Sport Grappling, 10th Planet MMA/No-Gi Submission Grappling. So I never viewed it as skepticism, just foresight, and an evolution to our art!

If I don't post again, and if my Hotbox brothers haven't been able to contact and physically see me longer than a week, I probably have been "dealt with" by the magic being worshipers for speaking of this.
