    I know alot of the rubber guard rants on this episode are old news to my veterans but I have to go over the basics of the rubber guard bit by bit for all the newbies, hopefully my old school nibiru warriors understand :)

      Hey Eddie, never feel bad about drilling old stuff even for your veterans. Sometimes I get impatient when I have to drill basic techniques with newbies in Judo, but at the end I’m always grateful for it, because it means I’m polishing what I’m already good at. Maybe I catch something I didn’t notice before, and with my additional knowledge, I can pay better attention to miniscule details that improve my fighting. Not only all the aforementioned, but it also keeps me and others humble in recognizing that we were all beginners once. I in no way want to tell you how to teach, and don’t want to sound like a know it all, but if you agree with me, maybe it’s something you could incorporate into your monologues when doing videos like this in the future.

      It’s helping me a lot as in my gym we train no-gi jiu jitsu twice a week, my master was quite surprised with what i could bring up, trying to get twister, couldn’t but got a banana split.  :D
