    I can't train for 2 weeks?

I went to the chiropractor today and got treatment for my sprained thumb and ankle. Usually after i get the needles, the pain is all gone. However, he told me I can't train for 2 weeks because my muscles aren't healed yet. I think this is bullshit because my joints were sprained not my muscles, what should i do?

This info comes a little bit too late, but use it for a next time:
Your joints are made out of bone and cartilage, but they are kept together by the tendens and the muscles connected to the ends of the bones and the pain that you feel is from the muscle being overstretched when a joint gets overflexed.

The best advice is always to listen to your (sport)doctor/chiropracter/nurse/... since they have really studied this material.
Taking your time to heel will prevent that existing wounds would be damaged again, but on a more severe level.

    Hope that this helps.
