Totally see where you're coming from Matt but my uncle is a OB/GYN and he got into the profession because of the Obstetrics portion, he's a 100% normal guy and I asked him about the idea of someone "observing" aside from actually performing a check up and some of these people who observe are just residents doing their rotations with different specialties within the hospital and university, so this 21yr old you've seen is probably just learning to be a doctor and discovering what he wants to do with his career. Should he be ogling your wife's lady parts absolutely not, is it human nature absolutely yes, but you have to think that that "kid" is just doing his rotations through the hospital. Working in a hospital I see nurses and doctors doing rotations through all departments, and it's just how you draw. Hope this helps ease your mind, but you have every right to be a little perturbed about that guys behavior, and you have every right to tell him to leave the room especially if he is not your wife's normal OB/GYN.
