    Paul Gilbert type of approach. I think it's cool. Lots of whole tone scales and augmented transitions in the fret boad. Dissonance and resolve to create ear twisting melody lines....good music in my opinion very sophisticated. Especially in 6/8 time.

    Yes switching up the time signature keeps I fun and interesting. Modulation of the keys is cool too especially in vocal songs.
