Does anybody do bottom armtrianles with lockdown on the opposite leg ? I think same leg lockdown and arm triangles work better but it seems easier to get the opposite arm/ leg setup.

Yes. With opposite leg you can stomp and sweep and finish from top.

Opposite leg? Same side leg yeah. Not opposite leg. I don't think I'd get leverage with the opposite leg.

A few guys at our school have good variations of this.. I usually picture trying to pop the persons head of as I squeeze, extending the lockdown and pulling up,away and away with the arm triangle.
Master Louis "Street" Ho has a super effective version that he does but he crunches in when he does it. Neither are very pleasant to be stuck in.
