The great love-fest for jiujitsu that was the Joe Rogan Experience featuring Eddie and Rickson got me really pumped about our sport. So, I decided to go look at the revolutionary new rule system devised by Rickson to revitalize our sport and recapture its former glory.

Eddie has the right idea with EBI, I want to support Rickson but a lot of this seems like it still encourages "stalling" as Rickson was making a big point about in the podcast with Joe and Eddie.

"Only board shorts or elastic pants (such as vale tudo shorts, etc.) is permitted to be worn on bottom. The color must be primarily black; up to 30% of the competitor’s belt color may show. The length must reach at least half way down the thigh. Shorts may not go past the bottom of the knee. Any pockets must be stitched shut."

personally I think around blue belt reaping should be totally legal
