Is it possible to achieve brown/black level and suck at takedowns?

Can I just say that if your games lacking in a spot don't you usually try to fix it. Not ignore the problem and hope it goes away. And on the journey to brown or black that realization of takedown importance should have come up at our school we train takedowns daily. Not 100% but drill and gets the steps. Each month we focus on a different style of takedown ie judo Bjj wrestling sambo... Being prepared for all is our philosophy especially defensively or you'll wake up as they raise the other guys hand
