What if EBI yellow cards came with time penalties in overtime?

So if you get a yellow card, which there should be more of for not engaging, instead of three times you get a DQ, each one you get adds 30 seconds, or a minute to you total escape times. So maybe you get a minute tagged on your start to escape time each round per card. This could essentially make you lose OT rounds based on your performance early on. This would make a good incentive to deter stallers or runners. Maybe I'm way off, but what do you think?

Interesting idea. I'll bet there would be riots over some of the stalling calls in tight matches.

With the current EBI ruleset, is it theoretically possible to get 2 yellow cards in every match and make it all the way to the final without any consequences?

This also doesn't punish you at all if you actually finish. Even in overtime, the time only matters if its 3 draws. So in that way its forgiving... But potentially a big enough deal to make people move. cool.
