    I just fucking love Geo

He's my favorite grappler to watch. I just love everything about him. Glover pulls donkey and Geo reacts by pulling his own donkey and they both back into each other!

So much fun to watch, so aggressive, so improvisational.

His match against Glover today was epic. I've watched it 3 times already.

And now he's perfectly positioned for day 2. The weakest of his 3 opponents is his first match. He's a massive underdog to take gold, and I'm sure he's quite happy with that position.

He's already made a great showing and has nothing to lose.

I'm more excited to watch him tomorrow than anyone else, and I have guys I know competing tomorrow.

    I just fucking love Geo.

Forgive my ignorance: is this unusual?

Sometimes. Not always. Depends. They usually run the bronze matches right after the semi-finals. But they sometimes start at the higher weights and move down. Also I think they sometimes cut down to 2 mats but this time I think they kept all 3 going so everyone had to compete at a faster clip than usual. I'll rewatch and see if they had 3 matches running at this time or just 2.

Basically, it's not that unusual. But it was a quick turnaround for Tanquinho and Geo to both have to go again for bronze so quick after they lost in the semis.
