    NAGA Seattle Expert matches

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=...&v=czdBanKC9Nw

After winning my superfight in Reno and the Oregon Open before that, I have turned a corner in my fighting. Before my competition last weekend, I changed something in my head. For the first time ever, in all my jits matches and professional mma fights, I've always attempted some sort of plan that immediately went out the window in the first ten seconds. Lately though I have realized that I have spent so many hours training that I can just let go. I have no preconceived notions of what to expect, I just respond purely on reaction. I go into the fight knowing that I know exactly what to do and when I find a spot to pull the trigger, I will do so. This way of thinking has caused a noticeable change in my anxious, pre competition mentality. It's weird. Anyways, all that being said, this is my NAGA Championship matches from Saturday.

Nice matches. I agree just letting go and flowing is the best way to go.

Love that competition philosophy. I made the same change about 6 months ago and I've been on fire in comp ever since. I remember hearing Keenan talking about "just going as hard as you possibly can and living with the outcome"

Thank you for posting that. I learned something from the way you use leg locks to counter the threat of the sweep that you get attacked with when you try standing passes.

    ...if that makes any sense.

Nice, great job! Especially like the heel hook at the end.

I just wrote a huge paragraph about heel hooks and knee bars then turned my phone sideways and lost everything, lame. I will just say this, 10th Planet is at the front of the leg attack game while some gyms still ignore the heels. Those gyms aren't at the top of the podium. Check out this Superfight I had in Reno the weekend before this! https://youtu.be/4BtHh5SC6ZI and a few weeks ago I won the Oregon Open in two elite divisions https://youtu.be/45i2ApxcMk4.. Wrecking the legs!! #10P4L
