    a question to instructors

As every jiujiteiro knows; being a good competitor doesnt means being a good teacher. How do you make unexperienced students apply techniques correctly? What are crucial things to be careful while teaching?

What Master Eddie said. Jiu Jitsu is about feel and they’ll never get it, in the beginning, by just hearing it. They’ll need that physical guidance and correction. I’d also add that you should pace them reasonably on how quickly to layer in new material. Repetition will be key but if you feed them too much it’ll get jumbled up ;-)
