    Wrestling Resources Online

    Hello everyone,

I've been doing Jiujitsu for a little under a year now and even though I watch online tutorials I always used to get frustated with watching Jiujitsu matches because I couldn't understand what was happening - until recently. I'm a bit late to the party but I was watching EBI 15 Qualifiers and saw someone called Ricky Lule who I understand is a BB...more impressive than that is that he's smaller than I am (i'm 5,6"+/-) and appears to destroy people!

After talking to Pete aka deadweight on instagram, he informed me that Ricky is a high level wrestler and suggested that mixing in a little wrestling will really bolster my jiujitsu game. Problem is, here in London, wrestling is as popular as Football (or soccer) was in the states 30 years ago.

There are places I can go, but they are far and few between.

I'm trying to see if anyone can suggest some good resources for me to look at and as a way to give back, I'll update this post regularly in case anyone else is interested in learning some wrestling.

I know nothing beats getting taught from an actual instructor, but I'm going to have to make do with what I have right now.

I know some stuff, but just imagine I'm a complete beginner - what do I need to know.

A friend and I just pick drills from this guys page and work them.

Starting all your rolls standing will also improve wrestling, if your gym has the space for it.
