First time rolling in the Gi

    Hey guys,

I have been training Jiu Jitsu for 2 years now, competing at a blue belt level. But, i have never tried to roll in the gi.
However, now i've bought a gi, and will visit a school with guys who only train in the gi... Any advice for a "gi-first-timer"?

Oh, being a rubberguard player myself. Do any of you have some cool rubber guard gi moves?

There is a gi school that has opened up close to where I live and I have dropped in a few times. Other than the gi being annoying and hot the only thing I had to get used to was defending cross collar chokes and dealing with people stalling by holding onto the gi. Other than that pretty much every single technique I have learned in 10th Planet works in the gi.
