Black Belt is supposed to be a definition in technical mastery. Cut and dry... you should get a black belt when you technique is shit hot, you have put your pride/ego/ability on the line in competition and earned it. Not just because you are difficult to tap out. Randy has done part of that, put it on the line (in MMA). Congrats on the win.

not everyone is meant to be a jiu jitsu black belt and there is no shame in that.
