    Pulled quad

    It's been awhile since I've trained, and I just recently joined a gym. After two classes, I was pretty sore, since my body wasn't used to the training anymore. Then a little while ago, I was horseplaying with the girlfriend, and I squatted down. Then, I fell to the floor, and realized that I pulled my damn quad. Fucking weekend warrior syndrome. Anyhow, any tricks or tips on nursing this thing?

    Rest, Ice, and elevation are the only tricks I know.

    haha Cant take pills anymore, bro. I used to eat pills for fun, but ever since I bruised my sternum, man. If I eat one pill, that shit will have me constipated for days LOL

    that sucks. well denny said it. ice and rest. try putting heat on it before you do anything physical.

    This and any antiinflammatory drug, i.e. asprin or ibuprofen. Up to 8 200 mg doses a day, 2 every 4 hrs. You don't need to take pills if you don't want to, they come in liquid form as well.

    if you have a good rehab center a good deep tissue massage, also a foam roller. A good epsom salt bath would be good to.
