personal goals and achievements

Last night in class, I was rolling with my top student and was doing all I could considering that active rolling is not something that I do all the time because of a heart condition that I have and my wind seems to get shorter as the days go by, but I'm working him and I'm pulling rg and flowing through all the way to jiuclaw and forget to hook his hips, so he jumps over to side control and giggles thinking he has me, but I quickly shrimp in and pull half guard where I giggle because I know I got him, but being that he just help me teach the newbies the "lockdown", he starts blocking me from trying to get the lockdown, after a couple of unsuccessful attempts, it comes to me that I've hooked his leg and he is in perfect position for the godfather sweep, which is exactly what I did. It worked perfectly and as I landed in side control and proceeded to ramping him into a canopener he tapped while I giggled the whole time. some of you are saying "no big deal", right. well consider this, I have never practice the godfather sweep ever. I simply have been studying the mtrg book like a monk studies the bible. It was my studying of my techniques that made the move work. So remember study, drill, and drill again. And for now, I live in the sunshine that I created with my own greatness and no one can steal sunshine that I create.

I know cheesy, but I like it.

Great stuff brother feels good to know that all the time and effort one takes to learn this great system is paying off especially when rolling

Its a beautiful universe

The funniest part is when something you see in passing, makes it randomly into your game. That's happened with the arm less triangle (Sub 101 vid), rolling foot look from sprawl control (a Funaki HL reel), and outside bicep crusher from a botched omoplata (random BJJ HL reel).

Particles popping in and out of existance flowing one sub to the next like one quarter note to the next.

I know the feeling so well. I get caught in so many sweeps and positions with my bf when I roll with him. Most of which I've never seen. But Tuesday I managed to do the swim move and landed in Spider Web. That was cool. There have been other things I have tried and didn't work, but that opened up the opportunity to actually learn how to do it. It's soooo fun!!! :D
