I had the honor of coaching Mike during this match. We all lost our shit when he tapped him. The last time the two met the other guy took it. Had a blast.
Beast! Wish I was there for this one. I got to see last years match and knew then Mike was way slicker than this guy and just had a bad day that day and got beat on points. Really glad Mike got the win with a sub!

Damn that was awesome. Sometimes you watch a move 10x and think you know why it's effective, then one day you get a better understanding. As I'm watching that I'm like, whoa, first off, the meat hook is making it MUCH easier to retain guard, AND the deeper he gets past the knee, the more trouble he's in...then BOOM! Carni. Beautifully executed.
