Japanese Necktie in MMA

One of my favorite fights ever. Askren fends off the Rubber Guard, an awesome hip bump setup into a super tight triangle, nearly sets up a Twister and then finishes with a Japanese Necktie off of a failed Peruvian Necktie. Check out the way he sets up the Japanese by sitting into a sort of arm in guillotine from half guard. Iffy stoppage of an insane fight.

Great fight! Even tho he lost I'm now a Ryan Thomas fan, that transition into that triangle was bad fucking ass, plus he's obviously a rubber guard player so you know I'm down for Thomas. Askren's jap neck tie was dopealicious as well :-)

Such a bullshit stoppage. I like Ryan Thomas, win, lose or draw every one of his fights are exciting to watch. :-)
