10th Planet Hartford 2.0

10th Planet Hartford has improved so much since last year. Just at the beggining of the year we had about 6 people at most in the classes and that's including the coaches. Just recently we were proablably one of the smallest teams competing at Naga with only about 6 guys competing and we still placed 11th overall for no gi. Yesterday July 24 2012 was proablably one of the biggest days if not the biggest in 10th planet Hartford history. About 2 weeks ago we would ussualy have 8 people on the mats and that would be considered a pretty good day. Today we had 16 people on the mats not including me (I have ringworm). I believe that is a record for us, most I've seen haha. One of the fighters at the gym Kenny Markwat has his second amature fight this Friday, I have a feeling he will dominate his opponent :). I hope we can maintain atleast 10 guys on the mats if we can do that and more start competing we will own the tournaments! I hope we can end the year with a bang and do even better next year!

Just thought I would take the time to update the 10th Planet family on how Mike Seabrook is leading 10th Planet Hartford into some sick stuff!

Keep on Keepin' On!!

I'm super proud of how things are developing in Hartford. We certainly wouldn't be here with out the continued support of Eddie, Coach Herzog and the rest of the 10P Nibiru Warriors. A ton of credit to our growing is owed to Coach Rob Cole. Rob has been instrumental in helping raise this club to where it's starting to get to now, we couldn't have done it w/o him. And honestly most of the credit has to go to the guys who have been coming and working their asses off on the mats, drilling, rolling, competing and spreading the word that 10P Hartford is the place for NoGi in CT :). We've certainly come a long way, but this is just the beginning. We have a lot of potential and now it's up to us to make good on that potential by working even harder :).
