Intro Thread

Been an MMA fan for many years, but the only participation I had was watching the fights from my computer or with my buddies. Did some research online and decided to check out a free class at 10th Planet West LA yesterday taught by Scott Einstein Epstein. Got there a bit early and was waiting outside for them to open when I notice someone else walk up to the locked door. I did a double take...it was Kenny Kenflo Florian! Introduced myself and we waited around till they opened up.

Class finally started and I was kind of glad that it was a small class (7 people showed up). Almost felt like a private instruction class from Epstein and Florian for the acceptable price of $0.00. There was even a wrestling session at the end where everyone did a round robin match against each other for 1 min rounds. Wasn't able to participate as I didn't have a cup or mouthguard on me, but was interesting to watch Kenflo and Einstein go at it.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and glad to be a starting member in this community. Going to take advantage of the first free week of classes, but will most likely be joining officially by the end of the week.
