Hello folks,
I'm eagerly awaiting the next MTS vid but until then could someone give a taster of the power of prison guard. For example how many positions(half guard full gurad etc.) can one get into prison guard.
Also a list of options once one has estalished the guard. This is just to fuel my curiosity while i wait for the mts saga to continue.

well i know you can get to it from half-guard (as seen in MTS) and also full guard (whether you just get double-underhooks and work from there or you get double underhooks from butterfly guard and then keep them while going to full guard).
from what i can think of: you can (i) go to the back, (ii) hit the swim move, (iii) arm triangle from full guard (or apollo choke from half), if opponent pressures into you (iv) lock shoulder and go for arm from guard, (v) gift wrap from full guard (with sweeps and chokes from that), i feel there is also (vi) a sweep from there but i don't know much about the details (maybe once you shuck the arm over your head you can just bridge to proper side? i don't really know)

i'd be in serious trouble if anyone at work had any idea as to how much i think about grappling at the office (hey, i'm no slacker though)
