While in New York, Budo Jake visits "Sambo Steve" Koepfer in the Manhattan Neighborhood of Hells Kitchen. Steve is the President and Co-Founder of the US sambo association and very knowledgeable in the art and history of Sambo. Budo Jake picks his brain a bit on the history, rules and a few of the myths surrounding this Russian Martial Art.

It was nice to see Budo Jake keep his ego in check. This was the first rolled up episode that I've seen, that Budo Jake could have destroyed the person he (rolled with) interviewed.
