Affiliation Attempt

Hey,

About 6 months ago I contacted Eddie about possibly affiliating the grappling program that I teach out of transform fitness in Winnipeg with 10th planet.

He told me I needed to make a video showing all the lockdown, twister rubber guard and spiderweb things I know and also to introduce myself on the forum.

I've private messaged some of the head instructors of 10th Planet gyms but never formally introduced myself on the forum.

I've trained BJJ for 7 year and Judo for 1 year before that. I was awarded a purplebelt with 2 stripes by Master Sylvio Behring 2 and a half years ago. I eventually left the system because the head of the Manitoba area wouldn't allow me to train or teach no-gi.

This is my first attempt at the affiliation video please give me some feedback :)

Damn, i'm very impressed, you know the 10p system VERY well.

Couple things....

In the stomps, be sure that you are sitting up in the cocoon when completed, not laying flat on your back.

Your kung fu move needs work.

Your deep hook in spider web needs to be deeper.

There were a few other minor mistakes but overall you scored in the 90% range.

Solid start Winnipeg!!! Look at this as a process. Those of us who have been through it will help as much as we can so if you have questions ask. Eddie is looking for quality guys who work as a team and have staying power. So don't get discouraged if your metal gets tested a bit. Remember this isn't a weekend cert. Once you hang 10th Planet over your door there will be a target on your back so make sure this is what you want. But, once your in your family.
