Sit on the floor with your legs stretched out as wide as you can bear it. Straighten your back. Try to touch your belly button to the floor.

While standing, use a chair to balance yourself and lift your right heel toward your butt. Grab your toes with your left hand. Keep your back straight and drive your hip forward.
foam roller is the greatest thing ive ever done for flexibility. i highly recommend the rumble roller a bit expensive but worth every penny. also think everyone should foam roll before and after class to prevent injury
