Absolutely tapping concedes defeat. Had the ref stepped in he could have tried to dispute the stoppage. "i didnt tap! I was fine!"

I think the quote was "jiu jitsu doesnt work on me" Not "jiu jitsu doesnt work". He wasnt really trashing jiu jitsu just trying to say he wont be tapped
