I agree that 10th planet needs a school in San Jose. A good number of high level players have schools here and the SJSU Judo program is world renowned. I am totally supportive of having San Jose be a hub for for JJ of all kinds.
1st thing I guess, someone who can teach needs to step up and commit, then a location has to be found, etc. I am no expert on the subject but I assume it also takes a good bit of $ to start up. In this economic climate, it seems there are few willing to take that risk. I was surprised when I didnt see a hotbox in the SJ area even.
Until then I'll read the books, watch the vids, try stuff in no gi class and try to hit up 10th planet SF and HQ when the wife & I make our yearly trip to the LA area in April.
Denny is very good from what I have read on Yelp. I am in San Jose so driving an hour to San Fran is a long commute.Quote:

Worth the BART ride for sure. When we were out for worlds that's all we used. If I lived out there I would spit my time between Caio's and Denny's gym. Denny is an amazing instructor and Caio is as well.Quote:
