New advanced rubber guard date?

I was on budo videos and looking at the new upcoming stuff and just decided to look at the advanced rubber guard book. I seen that there was a new date of April 2013 for shipping out 😃. I hope this it true lol.

Hopefully, I have had this on pre-order for what seems like two years now.

In another thread, someone posted a facebook link to the publisher and said "Tell them how you feel". I posted on their facebook page and they responded, saying something like "We are figuring out what our publishing lineup of products is going to look like for next year" or something like that.

I was going to respond and say "I'm not buying any of your products except for Master Eddie's book" but I wasn't sure if I shoudl set fire to a bridge or not. I still haven't replied to it.

Victory Belt also has a blog page for the book and I've written a gracefully optimistic post to them encouraging VB to release the book. I stated there are many, many folks waiting for this book to be published (which is true). They have a heavy focus on more general topics these days like diet and meals. Perhaps they don't see as much opportunity with MMA-related books? Not sure what their hang up is, but I sent a clear message that Advanced Rubber Guard will have an extremely large target audience around the globe ready to purchase.

After many times of calling them out on facebook VB finally responded and flat out said they were focusing on Paleo. I posted are they even going to bother publishing this book any more, and rather than responding w/ "definitely yes, we just dont know when" they gave some BS about still forming their lineup. At this point Im seriously just assuming this book is never coming out and allowing myself to be happily surprised if it ever does. Remember when it was confirmed for the summer two years ago? Guess whats going to happen when April 2013 gets here? Yeah.... Fuck Victory Belt.

At least Eddie is already a world famous grappling instructor w/ a library of books and DVD's. Poor Neil Melanson is essentially an unknown to everyone other than hardcores and Im sure, was going to use his book to try and get his name out there. He's REALLY getting fucked by Victory Belt.

No Sir! I dont believe this book exists! It's a hoax! like the yeti, sasquatch, or the female orgasm! I'm pretty sure there was a monsterquest about this very book, and like always they found nuthin! I also emailed this Victory Belt Publishing if thats their real name, and they assured me this ephemeral book exists! But no book has been forth coming! I've heard that this book has been spotted on a grassy noll, and also rumors that it was spotted in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, and some sightings in the skys of New Mexico. If this book does not materialize soon! I swear to god I will drive to this Victory Belt and give them what for!
Well, I absolutely cannot back up that threat, and they would probably just have law enforcement escort me off the property, and then I'd have to make bail or pay a ticket or, anyway you get the picture! I will actually, very likely, just wait and hope like everyone else, but I won't like it one bit. So take that Victory Belt!

you'd figure that with the success of the other books this would be an easy sell! I think I saw an interview stating the the victory belt guys had some personal problems which has delayed attention from proper distribution. Eddie did an interview with budo jake and the guy who uses the london. I think both their books were being delayed. Crazy

when I worked at OTM in Oahu the victory belt stuff did really well, so I can't see how there wasn't enough demand for their martial arts publications.
