Things that make me go HMMMM!!

While not super important stuff, in the grand scheme, I often come up with some situations that are somewhat obscure. After they have happened to me a few times I try and work through them a while on my own, then throw them up for discussion to see if I am missing anything. Then work them again with new perspectives.
These are real strange this time.

1) I believe it is called 5 point pass? I believe I learned it as a GI technique.You have guard, opponent feeds your arm behind your back and grabs it with him opposite arm. Even very novice people tend to try this for some reason. In No-GI it is pretty easy to break the grip and defend. Since his arm is stuck also, hand to the mat so to speak, I'm looking to attack.

2) I pass HG with buttock compressor often. Do you think someone can 100% me while I'm passing with it.

Not sure what you're asking in point one. But I don't work that pass you mentioned. In fact, once I break guard, I prefer to go under not over (like a double under or baby wipe over knee slide for example). I only go over if my partner is forcing their weight down to prevent the under pass which makes it super easy. I wouldn't work any pass that has me put my hand to the mat.

I can see a super strong person bully you into a 100%. But if you're doing it right, and have your head on the correct side, arms tight, elbows in, I can't see someone getting that underhook to even bully their way into 100%. That's just my opinion though. I'm just theorizing.
