I liked the "Healthcare costs would rise." Depends, how much are you charging for the weed?
...oh wait, it IS a part of the healthcare in Cali. And has it upped the current costs of other medicines? To my knowledge, it hasn't. People are going to be brainwashed until it is legal. When it does become legal, 40 years later people will wonder what the fuck we were thinking. If I remember right, people against the civil rights movement had lots of facts and figures saying that putting blacks and whites together in school would badly effect how both children did. People will bull shit anything they have to to argue a point they think is right.
Ben... *high five*. that is very well stated. I live in the middle of the US. Kansas City, MO. Weed is still talked about like it is Heroin or Meth around here. So when i here the conversations about this prop from people around here, it sounds like Cali is about to sink into the ocean. So I hope this passes and we can finally see how much of a non-issue this really is. The United States as a whole is still young in comparison to the rest of the world. I think this would be the first step in the right direction to show the world that we are a mature state capable of making a rational decision as a public. Rather than being brain-washed by the media.
