How's everybody working their squeeze and clinch? I know putting in the reps during drilling technique is a good way to do it but is anyone doing anything supplemental. IE eddie's example of working the RNC squeeze on his knee.

Squeezing medicine balls! I gable lock them, triangle choke them, leg curls them, RNC them, its helped my squeeze tons!
Louis has a tapered heavy bag in his gym. I usually give that a good squeeze before every session. Scorpion Crushes and Tepees can be improved without killing your partners with that. Like Chris said earlier... choke it in every way you can think of.
i use a basketball.
I didn't even think of using medicine balls! That's an awesome idea.
I'm always looking to improve anything I can for my jiu jitsu game via stretching, grip strength and clinch excercises so its always interesting to see what all you allstars are doing. Thanks for the tips guys.

Hey I'm not the one that had to give up on a match I was winning cause I pulled my groin! Hit him with your groin you sissy la la!!
One of our blue belts told us a few months back that the large exercise balls help a ton. I believe John Botello also also told us the same thing last time he was in town. I've played around with the one I have at home, it puts a bit of burn on.
Another thing I was told, but can't do at the moment, was to jump guard on a hanging punching bag and sit upright without using your hands for a round (or more as you can)
I just practice the squeeze when I roll. Try to maintain a good squeeze and gradually increase without burning your arms out.
