yes, i have had prp done in both elbows and have noticed a big improvement in both..
left elbow was a car accident and right elbow was a armbar hyper extension..
before prp, if i trained or over stressed my arms in any way (such as lifting heavy objects etc), i would be in so much pain after that i could barley lift a drink up to my mouth...
after prp, i can work out now (lift weights etc) and function normally after...
i still have pain daily but it is minor compared to before...
i would recommend and i would do again (probably will after 1 year)...
Thanks Ron. Did/do you have any tears (per an MRI).
And how long was you recovery? I hear it hurts like a bitch for a week and then recovery with Phys Ther is for 6 weeks.
mine is tendon damage, they used a ultra sound to find the tendon to put the needle into...
yes the procedure hurts...
they have seen progressive healing in patients for up a year, from one treatment (my treatment was 3 injections, each one a week apart in each arm)...
mine have been progressively getting better, after a year if they are not as good as i would like i will do it again...
That is some crazy shit. Very interesting.
