I was going to start a video/dvd compilation of the different Gi and No Gi grips and holds.Does anyone have something like this already .Basically a quick guide to change your game from Gi to No Gi starting with the way we control a person .There are quite a few Wrestling holds/Pins that I use and wondered if anyone had done something like this already adding in all the dfferent ways to keep your opponent close.
A good resource to start would be Harris Jiujitsu: Grip Fighting DVD, It has alot of information on both no-gi and gi grips by Roy Harris who is quite the boss.
This would be personally very helpful for me Stevie..whoever said it is easier to transfer gi to no gi is wrong imo....I would say its actually the opposite!
Harold Howard has a good instructional out.
