was planning on making a trip to pleasant hill area of California and was wondering if Cesar still teaches at his academy still or whether he no longer teaches, I have his dvds and he seems like a fantastic coach, would love to get jits lessons from him 1st hand :)
He is literally never there. I have gone multiple times and he always has another black belt instructing his classes. Super solid instruction but rare to see Cesar. Probably because he is doing training camps. His academy is a little overpriced too. I go to school in Pleasant Hill and for that area, unless you go out to Brentwood (which is hella far) to Crosley Gracie's place he is the best instruction in Contra Costa County. My advice make the trek to SF and train at Denny's or if you like the Gi, Kurt Osiander at Ralph Gracie's :)
